Share-a-Supper: Feeding the Community

About 400 families joined together for the City of West Palm Beach's annual Thanksgiving Share-a-Supper at the Pleasant City Community Center. A highlight on Mayor Keith A. James' calendar, Share-a-Supper brings together City leaders and volunteers who donate their time to serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to the residents.

The West Palm Beach GreenMarket: Celebrating 30 Years

Mayor Keith A. James kicked off the nationally acclaimed West Palm Beach GreenMarket during its 30th season on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, with thousands of visitors scanning for fresh vegetables, baked goods and choice items offered up by 130+ carefully selected vendors. A three-time "USAToday 10Best Farmers Market," the GreenMarket is "Seasoned to Perfection" in 2024.

Annually, the GreenMarket brings together a diverse collection of vendors and small businesses who line the West Palm Beach Waterfront, and the 100 and 200 blocks of Clematis Street. Additionally, the West Palm Beach Antique and Flea Market lines the 300 and 400 blocks of Clematis Street.

Both weekly events run every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., through April, except during the Palm Beach International Boat Show, March 22, 2024.


Mayor Keith A. James Cuts the Ribbon and tosses the first pitch

The 2020 Parks Bond Issue improvements were on full display Saturday, September 21, 2024 when Mayor Keith A. James and Parks & Recreation Director Leah Rockwell cut the ribbon at Phipps Park. Mayor James then tossed out the first pitch to begin the 2024 Phipps Park Youth Baseball season. The league offers baseball to youngsters from T-ball through the Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth Leagues.

Mayor Keith A. James and SBA Host Small Business Town Hall

Mayor Keith A. James and Allen Thomas, Small Business Administration Southeast Regional Administrator, hosted a Small Business Town Hall Thursday, August 22, at Palm Beach Atlantic University. West Palm Beach area small businessmen and businesswomen met with leaders to explore opportunities and learn about resources to help budding businesses.
