Jones started playing mixed rugby in primary school in Brynamman then joined Crynant RFC.
She was in the 2013/14 Six Nations squad but failed to make any of the match day squads. She narrowly missed out on selection for the World Cup squad but another impressive regional campaign ensured she gained selection in the 2014/15 Six Nations squad.
She made her international debut against Scotland in 2015 and made her first start in the Six Nations in the opening game against Ireland in 2016.
Since taking up a full time contract, Jones has taken a break from her PGCE studies at Cardiff Met and from helping with the running of her family ice cream parlour Franco’s.
