FLIGHTS OVER VICTORIA FALLS
The so-called ‘flight of angels’ is undoubtedly the most breath-taking way to see the magnificent Victoria Falls in all their glory, and to get those picture-postcard panoramic photos you have always dreamed of. This is also a great way to see the Zambezi River as it leads up to the Falls, as well as the formation of the spectacular gorge carved out below.
Extended microlight flights or helicopter rides over the Falls cover Batoka Gorge, Zambezi River and Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. There are wing-mounted cameras and a DVD can be purchased after you land. Microlights are the most personal way to view the Falls from the air, with just the qualified pilot and one passenger per aircraft.
All flights leave from Maramba Aerodrome in Livingstone and are at the Falls within about a minute.
