In this paper the experimental data obtained during the test in a double and triple concentric tube heat exchangers are very much impressive. However, U valve also fitted and were analyzed and the experiment results conforms the effectiveness of the triple tube heat exchanger. © 2020 Elixir All rights reserved. Aluminium and Al-alloys are the most suitable ones due to their peculiar properties for these requirements.. Here the dry turning of pure aluminium has been attempted using advanced tools like uncoated WC, WC + TiN, WC + Ti(C,N) +Al2O3 and PCD by using speed range from 400 to 700 m/min along with variation in feed rate. The highly precised Surtonic S-128 roughness tester was used to measure surface roughness while SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) was utilised to observe chip shear band formation and tool wear. The Elemental mapping technique was used to analyse adhesion. The different results show that PCD tools are more suitable than other coated tools for the machining of Al.

Here the wt% of glass fiber is kept constant with 50% and matrix and filler are varied. Three different weight percentages such as 2wt%, 4wt% and 6wt% of filler materials added with 48wt%, 46wt% and 44wt% of epoxy resin respectively. The unlubricated pin-on-disc wear tests are conducted to examine the wear behavior of the GFRP composites. The testing parameters considered are wt% of filler material (%), applied load (N) and sliding distance (S). Specific wear rate is calculated in terms of weight loss of the sample. An orthogonal array and analysis of variance (ANOVA) are applied to investigate the influence of process parameters on the sliding wear behavior of the composites. The result shows that addition of graphite in the epoxy based hybrid composite enhances the capability of material to withstand against sliding wear. It is observed from the range of load and sliding distance in the study that the load has stronger effect on the specific wear rate than wt% of filler material and sliding distance. The weight loss of developed composite increases with an increase in normal applied load keeping the wt% of filler and sliding distance as constant.

The current study investigates the limiting input heat flux for TEG’s with allowable hot side temperature of 150.A fin block with 8 fin configuration and fin length of 60 mm is chosen as heat sink configuration for TEG. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model is developed and analyzed in this work after validation with published experimental results. CFD model consists of 4 TEGs encapsulated within a target block and a finned block, placed within a low speed wind tunnel. Forced laminar air flow in the wind tunnel up to 14 m/s simulates the outdoor wind conditions. Concentrated solar flux is applied to the face of the target block. Effect of ambient air temperature, fin material is studied. Angle of Attack (AOA) and wind direction which arises due to the 2 axis tacking of sun by Fresnel lens concentrator has also been st...

Beam intensity dictates the type of activities that can be performed, as well as the basic limitations on the types and accuracy of the measurements that can be acquired. For this reason, the charged particle beam current, being directly related to the beam intensity, is an important parameter to monitor and control. To this end, a Faraday cup is commonly used to obtain an absolute beam current measurement in a variety of experimental settings, including particle accelerators .The primary objective of this paper is to describe the simulation and design of a Faraday cup system to be used as a current monitor and emergency beam dump in the extraction line of the Table Top Accelerator. The text of this paper and its references represent a fairly comprehensive introduction to Faraday cups with details that are relevant to accelerator systems with abroad range of designs and powe...
