Challenging issue in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is assessment of energy and lifetime at diff... more Challenging issue in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is assessment of energy and lifetime at different nodes within the networks. Various methods may be employed to improve lifetime (reduce energy consumption). One such method involves balancing loads on nodes when data is being transmitted from source to destination nodes. Multi-path routing techniques can be used for this purpose. In these techniques no global information is available regard the path, making it difficult to create multipath routes from sources nodes to destination nodes. Another problem with these networks is a routing applied to source nodes independently from that applied used for destination nodes. This creates energy loss and reduces lifetime. To overcome this problem, the present paper makes use of clustering by selecting virtual nodes to gather information from sources and sending it to destination nodes. The New Protocol for Enhancing Nods Lifetime (PENL) is implemented through NS-2.

This method dominates the difficulties of conventionally used methods, such as postage stamp method and MW miles method, and encouraging the economically optimal usage of the transmission facilities. Under the deregulated environment, the cost needs to be allocated to the loads as well as generators fairly and unbiased so as to provide a locational signal to both types of players for optimal setting. This paper proposes game theoretic models based on the Shapley value approaches for transmission cost allocation problems under the deregulated environment. This method uses the incentre point of a triangle where the three bisector lines of its angles meet. Coordinates of incentre point can also be easily calculated by the "Mathematica" package to solve problems of defuzzification and ranking fuzzy numbers. Some numerical examples are illustrated to show the utility of proposed method.
