Yeah, so school and stupidity are kicking my ass this semester and I still haven't managed to finish any of the three fics I have almost done.
SO. Because I don't want the comm to stay quiet this long, I'm going to post a review of a fanfic I found this summer when I was desperately combing the net for Ansem/Riku fics.
If any of you guys have links or find fics with our pairing, please post them! Even if they're bad, I'd kind of like to archive them all in one place just because they're so rare.
This format is left over from the fic-find project I did this summer, but if you want to post a review of something we haven't seen before, please feel free to use whatever format you like. ^^
Author: Sephiroth's Stalker
# of Ansem/Riku fics: 1 (sadly)
Title: Possession
Plot: Riku trains and waits for his final battle with Sora at Hollow Bastion. Maleficent squicks him, so he runs to his "secret room" to be alone with the voice in his head. The voice is helpful and sexy. It shows him what it can do if he gives it permission to take over his body. Heh. Heheheheheheheheh.
Review: By far the best Ansem/Riku fic I was able to find at the Pit of Voles. So relieved when I read this fic; I was starting to think there was no decent fic or porn out there for them. It's mostly in character, decently written, and pornographic. Plus, you can't beat a fic that takes place at Hollow Bastion. Yes, Riku goes OOC some, but he kind of has to if it's going to be consentual sex.
Thing I Liked: Ansem's lust for Riku. It was both condescending and inexplicably charmed by little Mr. Angrypants. Go, Ansem.
I'll probably be posting more of these to fill in the gaps in the future. Just FYI, I'm not throwing these out there as serious critiques, and if I end up saying something that offends the author or their friends, I apologise in advance. If anyone wants constructive criticism from me about their writing, I'm always happy to give it if asked. These reviews are not what that is, however. They're meant to save the reader time I spent reading a lot of shitty fanfics to find one really good one.
