| latest news: EVANESCENCE ON TVEvanescence is scheduled to perform at the 2004 Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday, December 8th. It airs at 8pm ET on FOX. Don't miss it! and my email to "roman" FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO CARE:Roman,I don't know if you remember, but I emailed you a while back about my efforts to keep Amy in the lead for the 'CosmoGirl of the year' for CosmoGirl magazine. It was the online voting contest. Well we had so many people voting and in the end our efforts paid off. Amy won!! But now on the winner's cover (Dec/Jan issue) they put Jessica Simpson. Several of us fans emailed them and asked why. One girl got a response, the magazine said they "chose" Jessica because of all the hardships she's been through this year (?!?!?). They also said they would have a little feature about Amy coming soon. Is there anything we can do about this??? One girl had the actual figures from the last day we could vote online. Amy rightfully won and her glory was taken away. Yes I know it's 'just a magazine' but it starts little and ends up with them losing out on a Grammy because they just 'choose' someone else.Thanks for listening,Lauren | |
