sexememily: Thugs..

GROUP of high school students in Orange are hoping to start a new fashion trend.

The year 11 students from Orange High, James Sheahan High and Kinross Wolaroi School have designed wool-covered thongs called 'thugs.'

"Thongs are popular in summer and ugh boots are popular in winter. We combined the two because it's cold in Orange," said Orange High student Kirrilyn Allsop.

The students are part of a State Government business skills program called Young Achievement Australia (YAA). It requires them to make a product which they can market and sell.

To do this they formed a company called 'Yankie' and sold 500 shares at $2 each. The company will be wound up in October when the YAA program ends.

But Kinross Wolaroi student Cathy McLennan said she hoped thugs would have a longer life.

"We wanted to create something that was fashionable. Everyone is wearing knee-high ugh boots at the moment," she said.

"Hopefully the idea will take off and we can keep making them, but at the moment we're concentrating on selling the ones we've made."

The YAA program was designed to teach participants about the ups and downs of running a small business.

"You can learn about business theory, but it's different when you put it into practice," said Cathy.

"Meeting deadlines and the pressures of the company is all new to us. It was so hard to get everything done by the deadline.

Thugs will be on sale in the Orange City Centre this Saturday and at the Rotary markets on Sunday.

sexememily: Perfume:

Applying Fragrance

Apply fragrance to your skin and pulse points only. Allow it to dry naturally. Do not rub your wrists together, this will alter and diminish the scent. Avoid using it near your face or behind your ears. There is no staying power in those locations and this will only dry out your skin.

To avoid any stains and discoloration, do not get any on your clothing or jewelry. Let your fragrance dry before getting dressed. Some perfumes are darker and have more of a tendency to stain, so take special care with "dry clean only" clothing that can't be washed after every wear. Follow proper storage rules, fragrance will darken with age and improper storage.

For a longer staying aroma, apply the same scent in layers. Many fragrances also come in bath soap, gel, and body lotion. Top off with perfume of the same scent for the long run. This will probably last you 6-8 hours.

Keep strong fragrances out of the office and workplace. Some people genuinely have an allergy to perfumes and don't appreciate the irritation. They can produce headaches and bring on an asthma attack, so apply sparingly.

Wheat Germ
If you want to get rid of pimples quickly and efficiently, make sure to include two or three tablespoons a day in your diet. Add it to cereal, yogurt, and cottage cheese.

You should choose foods that you enjoy, of course, but you need to include the following:

Vegetables
Three to five servings daily. Try to include one serving of raw, leafy greens.

Meat
Have no more than three three ounce servings a day. Cut off all fat. Try to make two servings of turkey or chicken. One serving of fish a day is ideal.

Fruits
Two to three servings daily. A 1/2 cup of chopped or sliced fruit is a serving.

Dairy
At least two servings daily. A serving would be eight ounces of milk or yogurt.

Fats
Salad dressing, cooking oil, butter, and mayonnaise should be limited to two servings a day.

Haha, I printed this out and put it on my fridge. Such a dork.
