Recorded:
- call, whoop whoop, at e.g. 0:03.6, 0:25.8 and 0:42.2
General observations: Open waterway between land and ice in a large inland lake. Twentyfive whooper swans rest on the ice edge. Three of them fly south and then turn-around and go straight past the recordist to continue west. Partly cloudy. Temperature: -2°C/28.4°F. Easterly light breeze.
