Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is today a growing health problem for both the developed world and the developing countries. Diabetes is the seventh cause of death, the sixth cause of blindness and the leading cause of end-stage renal disease and low leg amputations, diabetic emergencies and cardiovascular disorders. Objective. Establish the level of knowledge about diabetes and the relationship with its prevention in university students. Material and method. Survey with closed questions and alternative measurement, in the virtual site of the google forms.
