so, my sister-in-law says her grandparents have a cottage near olean that they use maybe 2 weeks out of the summer. it's in a secluded woody area, and has a gorgeous view of hills with trees. it has 6 bedrooms and at least 8 beds, as well as much floor space for extra sleeping bags. she thinks they might be willing to loan us this lovely space, especially if we offer a few bucks for electicity. i was thinking it might be nice to go for a weekend in october when the leaves are in colour and the pipes haven't frozen yet. there is a TV and an DVD player, too, for mellow evenings.
