Yearbook's Journal -- Day (original) (raw)

On Christmas, I missed yearbook like I missed livejournal, and let me tell you, I missed LJ alot ;)

Teri told us there's free internet in Las Vegas... Uh, no. You even have to pay for the line in your room, for freaks sake. It's like 50 cents a minute at those kiosks and 20 cents a minute at internet cafes... If you buy a drink first. Har har.

It's only been what, 10, 11 days without yearbook? Is it just me, or does it already feel like a lifetime to you guys? I don't know how weird it will feel to be back in the Dungeon again.

After seeing Renee's pictures, I want to go ice skating. Anyone else want to come? I took lessons for like two years but haven't skated for... two years. Hah my skates probably need sharpening and I just kind of remembered I never got that loose screw fixed. I have this loose screw on one of my ice skates, and I have to actually push it back in every few minutes or the whole back half of the blade becomes detached. I'm getting totally off topic, but hey, this is kind of fun.

The past two days I've been playing Final Fantasy VIII again. I got the game as a [early] birthday present over two years ago. I logged 23 hours in the first 3 or so days after getting it. Then I got stuck in the beginning/middle of disc two. So I put it away. I tried playing it once or twice since then, but I didn't remember where I was exactly so it was hard for me to start again.

Then after watching my friend play, and beat, FF IX, I decided to give FF VIII another try. So relying heavily on walkthroughs, I got almost to the end of disc three, and I have to say, I never DID figure out the junction system, which is the ONLY way to raise your character's defense, strength and magic attacks. I got about 90-95% through the game only using Gaurdian Forces. There are ways to beat the game by not raising levels, just raising defense, strength and magic, and you can also beat the game by not using any Gaurdian Forces. So I kind of played the game... wrong.

Okay, enough of this. For all you Harry Potter fans, check out Sugarquill for all you ever wanted to know, and more, about Harry Potter. There are SOOOO many little things if you really try hard to look for them... And some that aren't even there, haha. Just a warning, if you go to this fourm you'll have a hard time leaving because it's so interesting and thought-provoking, you'll wonder, why didn't I realize/think of/see this?
