1- Give a brief summary of what this book is about.
Grasped by the evil hands of a psychotic doctor of psychiatry, an evil web of hypnosis and murder spins itself around Martie and Dusty Rhodes, making it a personal and family affair. Relying on their loved ones, the ones not so loved, and the kindness of strangers, Dusty and Martie take action, and no one walks away unchanged.

2- What was your overall opinion of this book?
This was really a great book. The plot was very unique and really sucks you in once you get going. Personally, it took awhile to draw me in, but I doubt that had anything to do with the story itself.

3- Did you find this book easy to read? Why or why not?
Parts of this book got a little hard to follow, but, to me, they weren't significant parts to the story.

4- What motivated you to read this book?
I've wanted to read more Dean Koontz for awhile, and I traded for this book on swaptree.com

5- Why would you, or wouldn't you, recommend this book?
Stephen King or Dean Koontz fans should definitely pick this book up. It's really a great and unique story.

1- Give a brief summary of what this book is about.
This book is a compilation of excerpts from a now defunct teenage girl magazine, featuring inspirational and age relevant topics.

2- What was your overall opinion of this book?
I LOVED this book! The detail and concept really BLEW me away. There is nothing I could compare this book to, it's SO original and well written. You can feel Jilly's bitterness, Dylan's stress, and you sympathize with Shep every minute of the book.

3- Did you find this book easy to read? Why or why not?
This book was slightly difficult to read. You really kind of got a sensory overload at some parts, and had to put it down to absorb everything. But you want to pick it right back up again.

4- What motivated you to read this book?
I've wanted to read more Dean Koontz for awhile, and I traded for this book on swaptree.com

1- Give a brief summary of what this book is about.
A black boy and white jewish girl from New York, both high school kids, fall in love in a whirlwind romance. Both feel the pressure of an interracial issue, but let themselves love each other regardless.

2- What was your overall opinion of this book?
I loved it, but it left me wanting more, it seemed very short, and could have gone into more detail, and been drawn out longer.

3- Did you find this book easy to read? Why or why not?
Almost TOO easy to read, but the book is geared towards teen readers, so that was to be expected.

4- What motivated you to read this book?
It was a gift from my friend Laura for Christmas.

It's really a great romance story, even though it leaves you a bit short handed.

1- Give a brief summary of what this book is about.
A mother is haunted by the sensation that her son, who she presumed dead for over a year, was still alive. After falling into the arms of a man who would help her, they discover that not only is her son alive, but he's been a part of a top-secret government agencies top-secret experiment.

2- What was your overall opinion of this book?
This is really a great book! I had read Koontz in the past, but fell too much into Stephen King books. Since I had read most of the Stephen King books that were out, I decided to give Koontz another try. I don't regret it at all!

3- Did you find this book easy to read? Why or why not?
This book is another easy read. However, the ending somewhat sneaks up on you. You read and read and it all seems like buildup, until bam, it all falls into place.

4- What motivated you to read this book?
I had read a book called The Door to December by Koontz, and I knew he was a great writer, but I was too caught up with Stephen King. So I saw this book at Wal-Mart, and decided to give it a shot.

5- Why would you, or wouldn't you, recommend this book?
This is definitely a book I would recommend to people who like Stephen King, or suspense novels in general.

6- (Optional) Any other comments you'd like to share?
This book was originally published under the pseudonym Leigh Nichols in 1981. The book was then re-released under the Koontz name in 1996, and another edition featuring an afterward by Koontz in 2008.

1- Give a brief summary of what this book is about.
A serial killer with the MO of torturing and murdering women, then burning their bodies in public places stalks the city; tossing two ex-lovers back together to catch him.

2- What was your overall opinion of this book?
I really liked this book. The way Tami Hoag writes, she can bring several genres into one book and pull it off. The story line was interesting, and you really got into it.

3- Did you find this book easy to read? Why or why not?
The book is honestly really easy to follow. It's taken from different points of view, but done very well.

4- What motivated you to read this book?
I had read Tami Hoags "Night Sins" and the follow up "Guilty as Sin" and wanted to read more of her work, so this was given to me for Christmas.

5- Why would you, or wouldn't you, recommend this book?
I'd recommend Tami Hoag's work to anyone who likes a little bit of everything thrown into one book.

6- (Optional) Any other comments you'd like to share?
The only thing I disliked about this book was Tami Hoag's heroine. It seems like she writes the same personality characteristics into all her female leads, making them the same character, just a different name. It makes me assume that this is either based on herself, or who she wishes she could be. It's a great book, despite this.

1- Give a brief summary of what this book is about.
A man stalks the family of a 10-year-old girl he believes is his young daughter, Audry Rose, reincarnated. Once he makes contact, chaos ensues, and ultimately leads to her demise.

2- What was your overall opinion of this book?
I originally decided to read this because the power went out in our house because of a bad storm. Because it was published in the 70's, I didn't think I'd enjoy it much, but I did! The power ended up staying out for a week, and I only planned to read this book at night when I didn't need to be using the daylight for more important things, but I found myself finding moments to read it. It was really a great, wonderful book.

3- Did you find this book easy to read? Why or why not?
At first, it kind of seemed like an Exorcist knock off, but once I really got into it, and started thinking about it, I loved it. It's a real easy read.

4- What motivated you to read this book?
The fact that it was sitting on my coffee table and there was no internet or tv available, lol.

5- Why would you, or wouldn't you, recommend this book?
I would recommend this book because it's really timeless. The '70's were a different time, but really, there is no difficulty understanding. It plays on your emotions because you feel for the family, and the bad guy, almost feeling what they are.

6- (Optional) Any other comments you'd like to share?
Random read that I don't regret!

Author: Nikki Sixx
Title: The Heroin Diaries
Genre: Memoir
Type: Nonfiction.

The book starts on Christmas of 1986 and follows Nikki Sixx's diary through Christmas of 1987. Since it is a diary it's all in Nikki's point of view and is left pretty much as is. To fill in the holes and the half comments he makes, there are often insertions and footnotes at the end of each entry from the people Nikki was closest to, or that were involved in the entry. Some of the people who help tie the story together with their memories of the events Nikki talk about are Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, Vince, his then girlfriend Vanity, his grandfather, his mom, his sister, people from Motley Crue's record company, Slash, and other friends. He keeps everythign raw and real, only changing one or two names because he either couldn't get permission from them or wanted to protect their identies (mostly because they were under age ;))

I would definitley recommend this book. It was interesting to see the tormented inner workings of a rockstar addicted to not just heroin but cocain as well, and how much of a love hate relationship they have with touring and fellow band members.
