Yilin Wang (IHES) (original) (raw)

Yilin Wang (MIT Math)

News: I am joining ETH Zurich in July 2025 and am hiring a postdoc. Please see here for more details. Deadline: December 16, 2024

I co-organize with

Thierry Bodineau and Piet Lammers the informal analysis and probability seminar at IHES.

I am an editor of Bulletin and Journal of London Mathematical Society.

My current research lies at the interface of complex analysis and probability theory and focuses on themes that aim at enlightening the connections between Random conformal geometry, Geometric function theory, and Teichmueller theory. The motivation also comes from Mathematical Physics. I spend most of my time playing with Loewner energy, Schramm-Loewner evolutions, Gaussian free field, Weil-Petersson Teichmuller space, determinants of Laplacians, Brownian loop measure, hyperbolic spaces, etc. You are welcome to check out the slides and videos of my research lectures.
