We all know about the situation in uganda, and the truce b/t the ugandan government and the LRA rebels, it seems that there is no trust b/t the two as peace talks have been delayed due to the latest breaks in the cease fire agreement. The Ugandan government has accused the rebels of moving troops into northern uganda as attempt to topple the government once and for all, Joseph kony did not let the accusation go unanswered as he accused the Ugandan government of surrounding the rebel meeting points, he also was quoted saying that "just because we are at a cease fire doesn't mean the gun are out of our hands, if provoked we will defend ourselves." To me it seems the tension of a 20 year war is making any chance of peace impossible, without the help of a foreign government stepping in to keep the peace b/t the two, i fear this truce will end in bloodshed, which will only fuel the war effort.
