Meet time: 3:30 P.M.; Time we really started: 3:50 P.M.

Important topics discussed:

• The Young Democrats of Mississippi state meeting will be held next Saturday, January 27th in Hattiesburg at 1:00 P.M. The items to be discussed include:
  • Young Democrats of Mississippi Campaign Strategy for 2007.
  • Young Democrats of Mississippi Democrataganza.
  • Young Democrats of America Candidate Presentations.
  • Young Democrats of Mississippi 2007 Pledge.
  • Young Democrats of America/Democratic National Committee.
  • Winter Meeting in Washington, D.C. February 2-4.
  • Young Democrats of America National Convention in Dallas, TX.
• Another screening of Invisible Children will be held on Monday January 29th at 7 P.M.
• Our next fundraiser will be held in the near future. A few ideas were tossed around.
  • Taking over the concession stand in the commons bring break.
  • Putting a table out to raise money during a basketball game.
  • Presenting a showing of Invisible Children during the activity period on a Friday.
  • Having a step show during the activity period on a Friday.

All money raised will be sent to a nation in Africa (Alice mentioned Uganda) through UNICEF

• Also, Coach Martin might be getting fired. And Alice now knows that Patricia has a sister.
