Hello. A few months ago I planned on raiding the library garbage bins once a month, rescuing all the teen fashion magazines, and posting scans to a LJ community so many people could enjoy them. This is why I created 
youngstyle . Sadly, I haven't had the opportunity to do such, and I'd like to give the community over to someone who would take better care of it!
If you would like to be the new owner, either comment here (comments are screened) or send me a message through LJ. Tell me why you'd like to be the new maintainer, anything you would do or change with the community, and any moderation experience you have here on LJ.

Post Requirements & Template
Here at youngstyle, we try to keep a uniform and organized look to all of the posts. All posts must fulfill the minimum requirements for a post.
Minimum Requirements:
» One preview image with a width of 340 pixels and a height of 170 pixels
» The source (magazine name, website name, blog name, etc.)
» At least five images under an LJ Cut
Optional Additions:
» A title
» Photographer's names
» Model or models names
When you post, please use this code. Simply delete a section if you do not have the information. Add more image codes if you have more than 6 images or delete the last one if you only have 5 images.

How To Tag Posts

For images from magazines use this format:
magazine: [name of magazine] [year]

For images from advertisements use this format:
advertisement: [name of company/brand]

For images from websites or blogs:
website: [name of website/blog]
Example: website: the satorialist
For images from catalogs use this format:
catalog: [name of company/brand]
Example: catalog: h & m
For images from miscellaneous sources:
misc: [name of source]
