This is an RPG community based in The Village from the 60's tv show The Prisoner. People are sent to The Village for various reasons. Most are in residence so that those who are in control of the place may extract knowledge and secrets from them. It is up to you if you want to give or withhold. No one seems to know or is willing to tell what side the people who run the Village are on. This is for you to decide
Others are brought in to help extract this information. It is up to you if you want to be a prisoner or help in containing and extracting information from the prisoners. Be careful! Sides can be switched on you without you realizing it.

About The Village;
It is a beautiful self contained village that seems to contain mostly buildings of a Georgian design.
The exact when and where of The Village is a mystery, even to most of the guards and staff. Who is a prisoner and who is a guard is also mostly a mystery. Some residents, for whatever reason, have no idea which side they are on. Are they pawns? Is it a trick? Have they been brainwashed into thinking they are one or the other? Who knows.
All residents are given a number and are strongly encouraged not to use real names.
Alcohol, drugs, and weaponry are not allowed and are confiscated on sight.
All residents are expected to take part in Village life and you will. By hook or by crook you will.

RULES
*Community is open to characters of any kind. They can be original, from another canon or an actual person. Acceptance is based on the moderators. You may even play as yourself.
*In the case of characters from other canons, multiple versions are allowed and up to the discretion of the moderators. For example you could have the animated version of Superman playing here as well as the Christopher Reeve, Smallville, and Superman Returns versions. If you are interested in playing a version of a character already in play it is recommended you email and discuss this with the other player. The final decision regarding this matter however is up to the moderators.
*All characters with magical or supernatural powers should consider all powers disabled upon entering The Village. This is a forum for character role play and drama not for power gaming and trolling. Exceptions can be made for players and is up to the moderators on an individual basis.
*All characters entering The Village are considered "bound". That is they may not leave. All characters will be given a number and place of residence that is up to the moderators. You may not choose your number.
*Story lines and characters that bend or break the rules are not completely forbidden. You must however clear this with the mods and abide with the guidelines you are given.
*Other than these rules (which don't always have to apply anyway) anything goes. If you are familiar with the show than you understand what that means. Anything can happen. You may wake up and find yourself running The Village, or in a different time, you may find yourself living a new life but as it turns out it was just a memory implant designed to make you give up your secrets. It's all up to NUMBER 1. Who is Number 1!?!?!?!?!?!?
*please clear all story lines that involve the adminstration and look of The Village with the moderator
*the character assigned to No.2(second in command to No.1) is constantly changing. Please inform the mods if you wish to play No.2 for a period.
*canon puncturing and meta play is not only allowed but encouraged. After all, what is real?
*spoilers involving the final episode of the Prisoner TV show are not allowed
TO APPLY
email the mods at gojiravgigan@Hotmail.com with the journal you want to play with (all character journals MUST have at least one entry, character description, and detailed profile). Also include whether you want to play as a prisoner or guard, keeper, or pawn. This is not necessary however. Some who find themselves in The Village have no idea who they are or why they have been brought there. If you are applying with a character journal you must also provide your personal journal name and a valid email that you can be reached at. Also state whether or not you as a player wish to remain anonymous (not included in cast list as the player of a character)
