Videos Games Live!!! 
Video Games Live is finally coming back to NY!!
Janurary 29th, 8pm, at the Tilles Center for Perf. Arts, Brookville, NY (There is also a 3pm showing.)
It's been a few years since we've seen them.

Tickets go on sale on September. As usual, if you agree to go to this event, I will purchase tickets in person so we can all sit together, and get decent seats. (then pray you reimburse me in a timely fashion)

Livejournal announcment! Purging inactive accounts:
One of the benefits of the work we've done to purge suspended accounts is that we will now be able to purge inactive journals and communities too--something you've been requesting for years! A journal is defined as inactive if it has not been logged into for 24 consecutive months. A community is defined as inactive if has not been updated for 24 consecutive months. Once an account is eligible to be purged for inactivity, the owner will be sent an email to alert them of the inactive status. The owner will then have two weeks to log into the journal or post to their community to prevent it from being deleted. If the owner does not log in or post, the account will be deleted and treated like any other deleted account (the owner will have 30 days to log in and undelete the account to prevent it from being purged). Purging inactive accounts will take place sometime after we've begun purging suspended accounts, probably in late August. Again, you can read technical details about suspended and inactive account purges in this post. We'll be sure to let you know when these purged usernames become available.

I just watched this "
Turtles Forever
" animated movie that I had heard about from Kevin. IT IS FUCKING AMAZING.
The story involves multiple incarnations of the turtles, including the 80's versions I grew up with!
The modern versions are confused by the constant stupidity of the 80's versions..... stupid jokes, looking at the camera, and even their letters on the belt buckles!
This is a MUST WATCH for all TMNT fans.

Things to Bring To I-Con!
(old list that I do every year)
1. BackPack: Not as essential as in the past when we'd buy more stuff, but still important.
2. Jacket: Don't bring a heavy coat or just a flannel. You need something in between. (Preferably something you can squish into your bag)
3. Compact Umbrella!: It may rain friday.
4.. Food and Drink: Save money buy bringing your own sustenance and leaving it in your car. Coolers help.
5. Entertainment: a Gameboy or Ipod may be a good idea.
6. Change: Bring change to buy soda and chips. (the machines run out of change to break singles)
7. School ID, Driver's License: For the pre-memberships! There is a a separate area for pre-memberships. We go there, show our ID's to get our badges.
8. DigiCams: Don't forget to bring/charge your digital cameras and ammo!
10: Charge your cell phones! You may use them alot!

Japanese X-Men Opening I stole this from George's blog..... The heavy metal is pretty cool but what does it for me.... is seeing Jim Lee's X-Men designs in action. I like the old 80's designs but I've always loved Jim Lee and what he did with X-Men.
I'm not sure what the Brood has to do with Magneto but hey.... It's not like the engrish lyrics make and sense either.
