Ethics remains an issue across the world and based on the research results premiered at the #Apra2024 conference, Africa has the same concerns. The industry cannot be allowed to fall into disrepute because of a few. I have spent my career fighting for PR and reputation management to be positioned at board / management level and for the value of PR to be measured against credible metrics, and addressing ethics will be another pillar I will take head on. #AfricaPRIndustryInsights #EthicsDiscussion BCW Africa

That's a wrap! Our teams had a blast at the 2024 PRovoke Media EMEA Summit and SABRE Awards! We started off the day with our panel, "Artificial Intelligence: The New Frontier in Communication Innovation," where our Chief Innovation Officer Chad Latz and Hill & Knowlton's Global Head of Intel & Tech Innovation Allison Spray were joined by Pfizer's Global Vaccines Director Rianne Poot for an insightful discussion on how AI is transforming the current communications landscape, the responsibility this brings, and how ensuring the integrity of the information environment is paramount. Then we wrapped up the night at the EMEA SABRE Awards where we were awarded 7 awards across the BCW network including Best EMEA Digital Consultancy of the Year (BCW EMEA), Best EMEA Technology Consultancy of the Year (Axicom), Best EMEA Consultancy to Work For (Axicom) and Best UK Consultancy to Work For (GCI Health)! Huge congratulations to our colleagues at Hill & Knowlton for their award wins as well! Read more about the wins here: https://bit.ly/3vYKr4I - Recently, we were very fortunate to spend time with WPP’s CEO, Mark Read, in South Africa. Our BCW Africa Co-Market Leaders, Karl Haechler and Bridget von Holdt, and H&K’s SA MD, Lerato Songelwa, engaged in enriching conversations with Mark about #Burson's future on the continent. We discussed the pivotal role of PR as a strategic advisor to the C-suite and the exciting growth opportunities for our network in #Africa. A big talking point of the group discussion with Mark and the other WPP agency leaders in South Africa was about harnessing the power of #technology and #AI to revolutionise the #marketing landscape across Africa. Together, we're all committed to growing our business and fostering #innovation on our continent.
