Throughout the study I will develop a succession of ideas, in order to emphasize the importance of Mathematics in Economics, also having the objective of answering the question "Is it necessary to apply Mathematics in Economics? The study is based on a series of articles and studies of those who have influenced the science of economics, as well as critical opinions of scientists that have interacted either directly or indirectly with the theories of the above mentioned authors. The indisputable role that Mathematics has in economics should be accepted and taken into account by all the actors of the contemporary society, regardless of the individual's area of expertise, matter that would however fulfil the guidelines for any discipline, given that the remarkable progresses in fields of natural sciences from the Renascence to the present time are mostly due to the fact that all the laws of nature can be expressed as mathematical equations, and handling this equations represents the foundation of modern science.

This study aims at determining the factors of corporate governance that impact financial performa... more This study aims at determining the factors of corporate governance that impact financial performance. It uses a panel analysis approach that considers data from 2004 to 2018 of the insurance companies in Muscat, Oman. Out of the 10 insurance companies listed in Muscat Securities Market, four companies were chosen based on pre-established criteria considering the availability of data for the period indicated. To analyze the data gathered, descriptive analysis techniques using SPSS version 21 and Stata version 14 were applied. Based on the findings, board size affects ROA positively but negatively on ROE; FBM affects ROE positively but negatively affects ROA; BI has a negative influence on both ROA and ROE; and, AC affects ROA positively but negatively on ROE.Conversely, audit committee size positively impacts ROA and the independence and impartiality is a must to be a member of the audit committee. Conclusion from the findings suggests that the increasing number of the members of audit committee contributes positive signs for ROA which can be supported by many studies. Findings proved the significant positive relationship between audit committee size and independence on a firm's financial performance. For organizations such as insurance companies, the frequency of board meetings can be determining factor to decide in terms of profitability issues and business performance. Finally, the results provide the management to examine the implications of deciding how many members of the board, frequency of board meetings, board independence, and audit committee as these can influence financial performance such as ROA and ROE.

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of social media usage on organizational ... more The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of social media usage on organizational performance in a Broadband Company in Oman. It also examines the influence of social media usage on employee work performance. The study utilized a quantitative research method. A sample of 108 employees was taken with purposive sampling, and analysis was carried out through the SPSS. Major findings showed that social media usage significantly influenced work performance. Moreover, applying the three models in determining the significant influence of social media usage and work performance on organizational performance: rapid adaptation, time to market, and cost reduction; findings revealed that social media usage and work performance significantly and positively impacts rapid adaptation, time to market, and cost reduction. Based on these outcomes, it is recommended that the use of social media can be integrated into the annual evaluation of employees as part of its criteria to ensure that social media has been utilized and improve the employee performance in terms of quantity and quality of the job.

This study is based on the importance of enterprise risk management systems in the organization. ... more This study is based on the importance of enterprise risk management systems in the organization. Enterprise risk management is a tool that helps organizations to identify those areas which possess potential risks and on how to mitigate those risks. The objective of this paper is to investigate the importance of the ERM system to the firms' achievement of financial and economic goals. The study focused on four independent variables which are controlling risk, the role of the board of directors, the role of the management, and the size of the organization while the dependent variable is the performance of the firm. Using the quantitative approach, data were collected from 3 organizations namely KPMG Taseer Hadi, Deloitte Pakistan, and a bank known as Islamic Bank, the Bank Islami Private Limited. Purposive sampling was employed to take a 100-sample size from different departments. Key outcomes revealed that the controlling risk, the role of the board of directors, and the size of the organization significantly influenced the performance of the firms while there is no significant impact on the role of management on the firm's performance. Based on these findings, it is highly recommended to implement the ERM system as it will help in achieving the long-term economic and financial goals of the corporation.

Today, Vietnam is considered a premiere tourism destination and has a comparatively low COVID-19 death rate. COVID-19 has claimed over a million lives since early 2020 and has caused political, economic, social, and environmental paralysis. However, Vietnam's resilience, recovery from lockdowns, timely policy responses, and the cooperation of citizens and residents assisted the fight against this contagious disease. Secondary data from available government, newspaper, and academic sources are analysed in order to evaluate Vietnam’s tourism industry's success at battling the challenges of COVID-19. The examination focused on distinguishing the variations of experts, college/university administrators, teachers, and students towards developing the public sector/administration management curriculum. To achieve the research objectives, it applies a survey in three phases. The first and second phase deals with questionnaire distribution to Master of Public Administration students, teachers, college administrators, and experts. The third phase was the distribution of questionnaires to all participants who have given their opinion on the proposed curriculum, their objectives, and the subjects/courses. <jats:p>Amid the increasing threats of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam arose the human res... more <jats:p>Amid the increasing threats of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam arose the human resource management challenges in the tourism industry and the loss of jobs and the scarcity of workforce due to lockdown, business bankruptcy, and unstable business conditions in many businesses including the tourism sector. Previous studies have identified the shortage of skilled labor as well as the perceived lack of highly qualified talents with vast opportunities for success economically. This has exacerbated at the heights of the COVID-19 crisis as many employees live in fear of losing their means of living whenever companies declare work stoppage, closure, and other threatening measures to lessen unfavorable situations. Recently published articles and government regulations were examined and evaluated to determine the role of HRM in addressing employee fear within the organization. Interpretations and recommendations were proposed to effectively shed light on its resolution. However, further studies are needed to further validate these findings. </jats:p>

Tourism is an important industry for India for its economic advancement. Tourism contributed to o... more Tourism is an important industry for India for its economic advancement. Tourism contributed to one tenth of India&#39;s GDP and 42 million jobs in 2018. Tourism contributes to the foreign exchange earnings of India too. India has launched various measures to promote and push tourism industry. Amidst the various schemes of the Government of India, Clean India Mission seemed to have a positive impact on the tourism Industry. The study aims to examine the impact of Clean India campaign on four cities of India and in turn the impact on the tourist flows in these cities. The cities identified for this study are the top five tourist destinations of India during 2019: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Agra and Jaipur. Delhi the capital city of India is the top destination in India for international tourists. Mumbai the commercial capital of India is the second most preferred destination. Chennai being the capital of Tamil Nadu is the third attraction to international visitors to India. Agra known for Taj Mahal ranks fourth in international tourist attraction. Jaipur, called as Pink city is the fifth city of international tourist attraction. Clean India Mission is an effort to deal with all kinds of solid waste, sanitation and hygiene issues and other forms of pollution. Clean India Mission aimed at total cleanliness and hygiene of India was considered to be a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi-Father of the nation on his 150 th birth anniversary on 2 October 2019. Clean India Mission is an initiative to restore India&#39;s natural beauty by making the country cleaner and pollution free. The study is based on secondary and primary data on the Clean India Mission efforts in the five cities.

This study is an effort to answer this call but only in the limited field of public sector management education curriculum at the Master’s level. This study attempted an evaluation of existing curricula in terms of the responsive objectives in knowledge, skills, and values as well as the perceived gap between theory and practice. Further, it sought to identify any differences among school administrators, faculty, and students including practitioners in their perceptions regarding these objectives.
