COR-L24 (original) (raw)
This is the complete description of the cell line that you selected. By clicking on a generic term (e.g., SPECIES) you will go to the corresponding index (e.g., index of species), while by clicking on a specific term (e.g., retinoblastoma) you will go to the list of corresponding cell lines (e.g., retionoblastoma cell lines).

RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37C.
The cell line COR-L24 was established from a lymph node biopsy of an untreated 71 year-old male and was diagnosed as small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC). Bone marrow taken from the same patient contained hypercellular marrow consistent with normal haemopoietic cells and no evidence of neoplasm. In culture, this xenograft forming cell line grows as floating aggregates of packed cells with irregular shape. Cell line COR-L103 (96020735) was established from the same patient, having been isolated after treatment.
