Франциско Варела (исп. Francisco Javier Varela García, 7 сентября 1946, Сантьяго — 28 мая 2001, Париж) — чилийский биолог, философ и специалист в нейронауках, наиболее известный концепцией применения аутопоэзиса к биологии, разработанной совместно с Умберто Матурана.
