The patch works on big-endian, without the patch I just get a crash. Kostya, could you PLEASE make patches from the root of the src dir like I requested so many times already? Thanks a bunch. There's still the issue of your CVS access. Why not commit this patch yourself ;)

Anyway, you're the author, so I assume it's OK to apply. Compiles and works fine for me.
