Indeed. This is gcc - I now have both 2.13 and 2.59 custom FSF builds. And automake 1.9.3 as well.
openSUSE 10.2 now ships with 2.60 and automake 1.9.6. SLES10 and 10.1 have 2.59 and 1.9.6.
This slightly stretches the definition of "common", nevertheless: Gentoo currently merges autoconf-2.61 and automake-1.10.
