Rock crystal of good quality is known from ore veins. Many quartz crystals contain abundant inclusions of older metallic mineral up to several millimeters across: sphalerite (black or orange, fluorescent in UV), galena (lead gray, sometimes elongated grains), chalcopyrite, covellite (strong blue tarnish) and yellow native sulfur.
