Gmond
The general configuration directives that are required to configure gmond are defined in the man page for gmond.conf(5). The configuration format changed between 2.5.7 and 3.0.0 and therefore if you are looking at upgrading from that version you'll be interested in using the conversion feature from gmond which is accesible using the "-r" option.
Gmond was able to run without a configuration file until 3.1.0 which otherwise will load its configuration parameters from /etc/gmond.conf. Starting with 3.1.0 the configuration has been moved to /etc/ganglia/gmond.conf.
Gmond 3.1 configuration directives and differences between a 3.0 and 3.1 configuration file, are documented on the Gmond 3.1 configurationpage.
