Model Configuration Parameters: Simscape - MATLAB & Simulink (original) (raw)

The Simscape pane includes parameters for configuring specific simulation conditions for a model that contains Simscapeā„¢ blocks.

This pane appears only if your model contains a block from the Simscape libraries (including Simscape add-on products).

Parameter Description
Editing Mode Option to manage license check-out for Simscape add-on products.
Explicit solver used in model containing Physical Networks blocks Option to issue warning or error if model uses explicit solver for simulation.
Zero-crossing control is globally disabled in Simulink Option to issue warning or error if zero-crossing control is globally disabled during simulation.
Normalize using nominal values Option to specify whether to scale the system based on nominal values.
Specify nominal values Option to view, add, and edit value-unit pairs of model nominal values.
Log simulation data Option to specify whether to log Simscape simulation data to workspace.
Log simulation statistics Option to specify whether to log simulation statistics as part of simulation data.
Record data in Simulation Data Inspector Option to specify whether to stream Simscape data to Simulation Data Inspector.
Open viewer after simulation Option to specify whether to open Simscape Results Explorer at the end of simulation run.
Workspace variable name Name of workspace variable for Simscape simulation data logging.
Decimation Option to reduce logged data points by skipping time steps.
Limit data points Option to limit number of logged data points.
Data history (last N steps) Number of data points to log.
Enable operating point initialization Option to specify whether to use operating point data to initialize the model.
Model operating point Name of operating point to use to initialize the model.
Reuse components during compilation Option to specify whether to enable component reuse for scalable and incremental compilation.
Store cached compilation artifacts on disk Option to specify whether to store cached compilation artifacts on disk or in memory.
