        int          stride,
        MPI_Datatype oldtype,
  _Out_ MPI_Datatype *newtype
);

Parameters

Return value

Returns MPI_SUCCESS on success. Otherwise, the return value is an error code.

In Fortran, the return value is stored in the IERROR parameter.
