Seeing as none of us have tried to push the current prototype it will be tough to say exactly what can be done. A minecraft port would be an interesting benchmark.
Not sure I consider LoD to be a wholly separate node though.

I don't think it would be reasonable to try to make JavaFX 3D a full featured game engine. Technically I am missing a level-of-detail node. Cheers Michael
