The depreacted function in numpy.lib.utils is throwing a readonly attribute exception in the latest svn (2627). This is on the Mac OSX (10.4.6) using the builtin python (2.3.5) during the import of fftpack. I'm guessing its a 2.3/2.4 difference.

Who gets the award for "breaks the build most often"? That'd be me! Sorry, I hardly ever test with 2.3. But, I fixed it (and found a generator that had snuck in :)
