actually, much to my surprise:
import numpy as N N.arange(0.0, 1.0, 0.1) array([ 0. , 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9])
But I'm sure there are other examples that don't work out.
