One of the reasons to be able to specify attributes in an ABC or interface is so that you can use something more Pythonic than getters and setters.
Even if support for abstract attributes is not provided by default in py3k, it shouldn't be hard to add as a pure-python 3rd party add-on, using a custom metaclass or a class decorator.
