I don't think that's a strong enough reason to give the name a non-alphabetic prefix. Please just use README.txt. As I explained in response to Antoine on pydev, I do not like generic README and would prefer a more specific name beginning with 'A'; however, I will just delete the '@' in my next patch, which will fix the one buildbot breakage.
