It's certainly possible to use Xvfb to run headless GUI tests on Linux (or other Unixes that use X11). Any CI service should be able to handle this, e.g.: https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/gui-and-headless-browsers/#Using-xvfb-to-Run-Tests-That-Require-a-GUI
