the 2.1.2 is ready for release candidate - I've yet to go through the hoops to cut the rc1, but please please feel free to pull the CVS version and try it out.

Excellent! When do you plan to release it? What kind of help do you want from us? We'd be happy to follow PEP 101 but it might have to wait until 2002.
