FYI,

The log4j (j==Java) system uses five levels: 1. debug 2. info 3. warn 4. error 5. fatal

I'm also a very happy user of log4* (although * = C at the moment for me).

IMO: The debug and info levels are for the programmer, only warn, error, and fatal are for the user.
