Hey, I just did the announcement. I'm not the ringleader. If someone (e.g. at pythonlabs) can set up a mailman for us then I'll send out another announcement telling people about it. But I don't intend to become the point man for option parsing! I could also set up a yahoogroups list but those are somewhat annoying in my experience.
