In the absence of any screams of "no, dear god, please don't", I am declaring the start of the 2.3.3 release process. I'll start cutting the rc1 tomorrow morning (in around 10 hours time).
So, from now, until we get 2.3.3 final out the door (in about 2 weeks), please do NOT check in on the release23-maint branch unless your name is Anthony, Thomas, or Fred. If you see something that absolutely MUST be fixed, please check with me first.
Remember - suprises on the release23-maint branch make for an unhappy release manager, and after the last couple of weeks, I'd really like a nice, simple, smooth release.
