Using reply-all for a checkin message used to notify the committer and cc the checkins list. Now, it also cc’s the python-dev list but not the committer.

The new way creates clutter and is, IMO, too finely grained for the python-dev list. Can we go back to the old way and stop cross-posting ourselves?

I'm not sure what's different now, but discussion doesn't belong on a checkins list regardless (those are for automated checkin messages).
