I don't want to buy another M$ compiler. Is there a freeware alternative?
Ten core Python developers received a free VC7.1 copy from Microsoft. Maybe someone who hasn't opened theirs yet is willing to step down?
MS also alluded to a free downloadable compiler, but I haven't tracked it down yet. And of course theer's always mingw (or whatever it's called).
