It's Python 2.3 bytecode, but the 2.4 CVS implementation is allowed. (Did we change the bytecode at all?)
Not much, but Raymond is hard at work on a new PARROTBENCH opcode. The plan is to check that in the night before the contest. It's a good plan. Please advise ASAP about the exact cache architecture of the contest machine, so PARROTBENCH can be made as impartial as possible.
