Followups directed to Tracker-Discuss, where the people who can do something about it are hanging out. (They're here too, but I'm pretty sure they'd rather discuss this issue on that list.)

Hi,

I've recently subscribed to this list and received my first "Summary of Python tracker Issues". What I find annoying are the dates, for example:

 ACTIVITY SUMMARY (04/17/09 - 04/24/09)

3 x double-digits (have we learned nothing from Y2K? :-)) with the middle ones changing fastest!

I know it's the US standard, but Python is global. Could we have an 'international' style instead, say, year-month-day:

 ACTIVITY SUMMARY (2009-04-17 - 2009-04-24)

+1. ISO 8601 should be mandatory.
