Hi,
My reading of the most recent set of emails on this topic is that the balance of opinion is against adding a 'partialright' or 'partial.skip' feature. I still think such a feature would be of real use, although I can see the arguments against adding it. Is the conclusion 'no thanks', then?
There's a partial.skip patch on the tracker already: http://bugs.python.org/issue1706256
While it has been rejected, chiming in still wouldn't hurt (in case we ever decide to revisit the idea).
Cheers, Nick.
