That has been hashed out repeatedly on this and other lists. Can it please be stipulated that for some people, in some cases, it is a problem?
It seems to me that if you've experienced the sort of culture that makes it a problem, you understand the point immediately, but if you haven't, you never will (that's not disparaging anyone, the idiosyncracies of corporate culture are widespread and bizarre - if it helps, just remember that Dilbert is a documentary :-))
