Knowing both of them I can say ZPT is one of the few things I like about Zope and I find it a lot more powerful than Django templating system. Other than that, I don't see how changing the templating language can make any difference. If one does not contribute something because of the language used in templates... well, I think it wouldn't have been a particular good contribution anyway. =)
