I just updated PEP 361 (Python 2.6 release schedule).
Python 2.6 is in security maintenance, source only release mode. Official support for Python 2.6 expires on October 1 2013, and I would like to do one last release[1], i.e. 2.6.9 as close to that date as possible.
I know of issue 16248, but if there are any other security issues that must be applied to 2.6, please let me know.
Cheers, -Barry
