Is there an issue ticket or a wiki page that supports Markdown/ReStructuredText, where I could put this? Which URI do we assign to this artifact?
There are already pages https://wiki.python.org/moin/Git and https://wiki.python.org/moin/Mercurial . You can create an additional page and reference it on that pages.
