Could somebody please have a look at the following SO question? It seems as if I might have found a bug in pip: http://stackoverflow.com/q/28282671/562769
TL;DR of the SO question:
I executed $ sudo pip install hwrt --upgrade
mutiple times and got a -
seemingly random - version of hwrt installed.
