I'm using the free service ReadTheDocs.org and it's really impressive how fast it is to update the HTML page after a push. It's usually less than 10 seconds. I have no idea if the way our docs are built would work on readthedocs.org, but if it could then I would definitely vote to move our docs there and have the PSF make a regular donation for the service.
Oh, I was talking about small documentations of personal projects. I didn't propose to move Python docs to readthedocs.org. I don't know if it makes sense.
It's just to say that we can do better than 30 minutes of the current system :-)
